A diaphragm pump system consists of one or more dual-sided pumps, such as a pneumatic dual-diaphragm pump. The manifolds on the pumps are separated, allowing each side to pump out one component of a multi-component material. An accumulator is connected to the outputs on both sides, converting the out-of-phase outputs into in-phase ones. Diaphragm isolation valves can be installed at the outlets on each side of the pump to prevent backflow of the mixed material.

If a mixing ratio other than 1:1 is required, more than one of these pumps can be used together to achieve various mixing ratios.

A diaphragm failure monitoring system is used to detect leaks in the diaphragm of a diaphragm pump. This system includes a pump with a chamber containing a working fluid; a pumping chamber for pumping material in and out of the pump; and a diaphragm to isolate the chamber from the pumping chamber. A first optical fiber is connected to the chamber to transmit an optical signal through the working fluid. A second optical fiber is connected to the chamber to receive the optical signal transmitted from the first optical fiber. An electrical signal establishment device establishes a first electrical signal when the optical signal travels from the first optical fiber through the uncontaminated working fluid to the second optical fiber. This electrical signal establishment device establishes a second electrical signal when the optical signal travels from the first optical fiber, passes through the contaminated working fluid, and reaches the second optical fiber. When the second electrical signal is established, leakage caused by contaminating material passing through the diaphragm and entering the working chamber can be detected.

The diaphragm installation method inside the diaphragm pump is performed without affecting the pump's volume change requirements, fully utilizing the diaphragm's excellent pressure resistance. It is based on the diaphragm's geometric dimensions, requiring minimal additional cost and workload while significantly extending the diaphragm's lifespan, ensuring normal production, and improving product quality. It is applicable to diaphragm installation in various diaphragm pumps.
